My typical day is… well, the truth is, there are no typical days around here – and that’s one of the things I really like about my job!

My job lets me see so many different facets of game-building and interact with all the different disciplines involved. I’m lucky to work with so many extremely talented and friendly people at this studio – and I have to say it’s a kick to work on new games that no one else has seen.

What do I like about coming to work? I have to say that EA Black Box has this really wonderful vibe. Our studio has grown in numbers but still retains a small company feeling. I also enjoy riding up the elevator in my flip-flops and jeans amongst the suits…one time a girl looked at my outfit and said “you look like you’re going somewhere fun".

Despite immense success, nothing is taken for granted. People still have the drive and desire to create world beating video games. The young, independent vibe runs deep, generating excitement and a more fluid working atmosphere.

I make video games and get paid for it! It may have been like that for 8 years, but it’s not getting old!

The best thing working at EA Black Box is the relaxed and positive attitude that resides in the office. Everyone is helpful and goes the extra mile to get the job done which makes working here inspiring and fun.

I like the variety of my job, every day there is a new problem to solve and new things to create – one day is never the same as the next! Also having the opportunity to work with so many great and talented people makes it a great place to work.
