Leading the production of a Next Gen Console game with specific emphasis on driving. Working with executive producers, associate producers and product managers in all aspects of the production, emphasizing on both PC and next gen console platforms.
A Software Engineer is a part of the game creation process, including architectural design, implementation, and debugging on multiple platforms working on complex problems with Designers, Artists and other Engineers in domains including rendering, gameplay, audio, user interface, online, physics, databases and tools.
The Online Software Engineer designs and implements code that allows players to compete against each other (or play together) connected via a LAN or the Internet. The position requires collaborative work on complex problems.
The Rendering Software Engineer is a part of the game creation process, including architectural design, implementation, and debugging on multiple platforms working on complex problems with Designers, Artists and other Engineers in the domain of computer graphics.
The Development Director provides leadership to a single project team. Responsibilities include planning and managing task objectives and assignments, assessing risk and managing project scope. They manages artists, development managers and software engineers plus cooperate with producers on the game team. A DD is responsible for the professional and career advancement of the people who report to him or her. In addition, a DD must collaborate with other studio teams, other game teams and the Quality Assurance department to manage projects and mitigate risks along the way. DDs are the keepers of the project schedule and play a vital role in successfully moving the development team from one project phase to the next while ensuring a strong focus on customer service and communication.
The Technical Artist is the bridge between Artists and Engineers. Individuals in this role are pro-active problem solvers who demonstrate a strong sense of creativity and respect for aesthetics. Candidates can be from an Art, Design, Mathematics, Engineering or Science background; however they must demonstrate a comfort level in working with both art and science. Working with Programming/Technical staff, the Technical Artist ensures that CG assets are easily integrated into the game engine without sacrificing artistic integrity.
